Doug is an exceptionally charismatic individual. He is known for the excellent quality writing he does, both as a journalist and as a book writer. His most recently work published two years ago, A Ghoul’s Life, caused a great stir amongst the undead community as the book was published for all audiences and focused on several real ghouls serving their Vampiric Masters. If this scandal wasn’t great enough he works as a freelance journalist having been published in two major underworld papers and the LA Times.
Early Life:
Doug grew up in Hollywood itself, the child of a hardworking agent with several less than savoury clients. After a deal went bad and almost ruined his father Doug grew obsessed with rooting out secrets from the wealthy and the well to do. His first story, Akane the amorous addled addict, made waves as it looked into the life of a deceased C-List starlet and revealed more than anyone was comfortable with.
Career:
Doug realized that a single column, or even an online editorial wouldn’t fit the scabrous underbelly of the rich and famous he wanted to dig out. In his first book, They Live Amongst Us¸Doug came close to revealing secrets of the undead that none would be comfortable with. This resulted in a visit from the inquisition itself. Doug’s turned his writing into a business with a small team of writers.
Viktor has attempted to acquire Doug’s company and staff several times, but met with failure at every attempt. Viktor had recently purchased a rival freelancer’s company, Jack’s Attack, a company that had published several highly critical and negative stories about the Sargen Bloodline. Since the acquisition, there hasn’t been a critical word about Viktor, probably a reason why Doug would never accept the offer.
Personal Details:
Doug has been married eight times, his most recent and longest marriage lasting 6 months before ending in August.
